Thinking about switching? The questions every owner asks first.

  • Your team

Will my staff get the hang of it?

We come to your venue and explain everything to your team in person, so nobody has to learn it from a manual.

  • The cost

    What does switching cost?

The software is one plan at €95 a month. Your hardware is quoted for your setup, and there are no installation costs.

  • Your menu

    What happens to my menu?

Once it's in Eatcard, one menu runs on every channel. We set up your menu in Eatcard for you, and afterwards you manage it yourself.

  • Your hardware

    Which hardware do I need?

In the demo we work out which tablets, kiosks, handhelds and screens your venue needs, and quote them for you. Sometimes hardware you already have can be reused; we check that together in the demo.

  • One step at a time

Do I have to switch everything at once?

No. Many venues start with the POS and add more later, such as a kiosk, QR ordering or a kitchen screen. It all runs on the same platform, and the software stays within your €95 a month. You only add the hardware for the new systems.

Questions about switching.

Who installs Eatcard?
We do. After the demo we come to your venue to install everything, and explain it to your staff in person.
How long does switching take?
Usually 1 to 2 weeks from the demo to your first service. It depends on how quickly we have your details, the delivery of your hardware and the size of your order.
Do I have to close my venue for the switch?
No. We install before you open, or we make sure there is always a way to keep taking orders. We agree on the timing with you, based on your venue.
How do card payments work after the switch?
Card payments run on Eatcard Pay, at the fees on our pricing page. Signing up with our payment partner is part of getting started: you get a link to sign up online, it takes a few minutes, and we take it from there. Payments run on Eatcard's own card terminals, so a terminal from your current provider can't be used. See the card fees
Who do I contact after the switch?
Your contact person at Eatcard, who knows your venue. For technical questions, support is there by phone, WhatsApp and email.
Can I switch several locations?
Yes, Eatcard works for groups and chains. Book a demo and tell us how many locations you run; you get an offer for your group.
